9/23 BETTER BLOCK DROP-IN YOGA with BE NICE instructor ANDY MAGGETTI
Come join BE NICE instructor ANDY MAGGETTI at Detroit's first ever Better Block , which will occur as part of the Detroit Design Festival. No start or stop time, just bring your own mat and blanket, and "drop-in" to the outdoor park between 3-5 p.m. to catch the good vibes with Andy.
10/6 MOTHERSHIP CONNECTION MOVEMENT and LISTENING PARTY
Connect our inner and outer worlds through a cosmic gathering. Interactive artist ZAY LAY is landing THE MOTHERHSHIP and MENTAL MACHINE on our front lawn. Come see the interactive sculpture that gives tribute to Detroit's seminal DJ and Radio Personality, the Electrifying Mojo, as a part of the DLECTRICITY exhibition of Art + Light. Take part in this education, vibrational event that will take place inside the studio. We'll use our bodies, minds, and spirits to connect the living consciousness of Mojo and his legacy. Suggested donation is $10 and all procceds go towards the artist.
10/21 MOVIE NIGHT
Grab a pillow and a blanket and join us in the studio for a screening of Living Yoga: The Life and Teachings of Swami Satchidananda. This film follows "the birth of the modern yoga movement and its impact on the world". Check out the trailer here.
