for Everybody
A
class appropriate for all level of student, but is geared
towards helping those who feel they "can't
do yoga" to find comfort, while seeking a routine
of exercise and health. No Judgement, no pressure.
Just an opportunity to be good to yourself for an hour
each week, and to encourage positve change in your
life! This is a perfect class for beginners.
Workbreak
This class runs for 45 minutes to allow for you to practice during your lunch-break
from work. It's easy to follow along. Focus is on stretching, tension relief
and breathing. Postures will be paced slowly - but a dedication to challenging
yourself is required! You may return to work refreshed, and perhaps with a new,
and more positive perspective. Basic Yoga is recommended for everybody.
Ashtanga Flow
This class focuses on strength, flexibility and synchronization of breath with the continuous flow of movement. The foundation of this class will be based on the primary Ashtanga series, but each class will embark on different “asana-adventures” while continuing to build one pose off the next. You will practice both classical and creatively-adapted sun salutations, standing, seated and twisting postures, balance-poses and inversions alongside with yogic breathing and resistance work. Movements are fluid and there is a focus of correct alignment and hands-on adjustments. All levels are welcome to participate as each pose will be taught with modifications to help beginners as well as build the practices of the more advanced student.
Yoga
Ed
Yoga Ed requests each student to develop a non-competitive practice to serve as a health maintenance regime to integrate on and off the mat. The goal of the class is to incorporate self-awareness by conceiving a deeper knowledge of one’s body as instructions are verbalized in a precise manner. Yoga Ed invites each participant to allow the mind to guide the body during each asana (posture). The hour journey will yoke the mind, breath and body with the intricacies of one’s internal and external anatomical function. Class tailored for all levels.
Yoga to You
Semi-private and private sessions are for groups or individuals
that would like the option of having yoga classes brought
to them. For instance, if you have a number of people
in your office interested in a yoga class, an instructor
